USE stands the user (U), society (S) and enterpirse (E). In the future, these three players will be more and more responsible for the technolgical devlopment. In USE we learn about these players and the role of the engineer on the basis of the social and management sciences and the humanities. Current dilemmas relating to technology are examined from the perspective of the history and ethics. First we learn about the history of engineering and then about engineering ethics.
