About
I help teams move from abstract ideas to tangible solutions.
My background is in Industrial Design. That training still shapes how I work: an idea is not finished until someone can hold it, use it, or argue with it.
I help organisations turn complex questions into solutions that work for customers, citizens and employees. I start with research into what people need, then design services, journeys and digital products with stakeholders — made testable through sketches, prototypes and experiments.
I joined PwC’s Experience Center as an intern in 2018 and am now a manager in Experience Consulting. I lead teams from user research and briefing through to delivery, and the accountability sits with me.
Based in Deventer, working across the Netherlands — often in Amsterdam — and remotely when that suits the work better.
Journey
How I got here.
The making years
Industrial Design
I started by shaping physical things: sketches, foam models, CAD, light, materials. The craft taught me that an idea is not real until someone can hold it, walk around it, or argue with it.
Beyond the object
Service Design
Products live inside journeys. I learned to map the invisible: moments, handovers, waiting, trust. Whiteboards became as important as workshops, and stories became as important as surfaces.
From journeys to feelings
Customer Experience
Experience is what people remember after the process is forgotten. I help teams listen more carefully, design for the human in the loop, and turn complexity into something that feels obvious.
Making the unproven tangible
Innovation
I facilitate rooms where vague ambition becomes a testable concept. Rapid cycles, cheap prototypes, honest feedback. Innovation is less a lightning bolt than a series of small, brave makes.
Where I am now
AI & Rapid Prototyping
Tools got faster. Agents, copilots and prompt craft let ideas become working artefacts in hours instead of quarters. I am exploring how design judgement and machine speed can share a table.
